Nicole Congdon and her mom Ann are knitting vibrant colored tank top style poultry sweaters for the electric battery hens coming off the factory farms. Nicole herself has adopted 30 previous battery chickens and understands that they get chilly with their feather reduction and poor conditions when she first receives them.
