Farmers Help Chickens To Maintain Them Warm By Sewing Tiny Sweaters

Nicole Congdon and her mom Ann are knitting vibrant colored tank top style poultry sweaters for the electric battery hens coming off the factory farms. Nicole herself has adopted 30 previous battery chickens and understands that they get chilly with their feather reduction and poor conditions when she first receives them.

Acclimating to the cold, sharp weather of fall and winter is tough. Yet one woman in Cornwall, England has stepped up to help her feathered and not-so-feathered friends.
